The Purple Symphony in KL - Symphony of Friendship

The Purple Symphony was thrilled to be back in Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur feels incredibly special after our 2023 debut performance in Johor Bahru.
Founded by Central Singapore CDC, The Purple Symphony is Singapore’s largest inclusive orchestra, comprising musicians with and without disabilities.

Our musicians come from all walks of life and backgrounds, each bringing a unique story and a deep love for music.

We are so honoured that Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah invited The Purple Symphony to perform, and to share the same stage as Malaysia’s Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, their MOE Choir and several Malaysian singing superstars.

Huge thanks to Yayasan Raja Zarith Sofiah Negeri Johor Foundation, Ms Ho Ching and Temasek Foundation for making this possible, and to our Ministry of Community, Culture and Youth for supporting part of this exciting venture too.

Themed the ‘Symphony of Friendship’, this magical night celebrates the power of music to transcend boundaries and bring communities – and countries – together.

We are mighty proud to be part of this amazing collaboration.
