Celebrating our incredible musicians!
Today is Helen Keller Day—a special day created to celebrate the life and achievements of Keller, who overcame both blindness and deafness to become a renowned writer and disability advocate.
Just like the remarkable Helen Keller, Singapore’s Lawrence, Sakinah, and Nurul are true overcomers who never fail to inspire.
Cheekily calling themselves the ‘Three Blind Mice’, this joyful and talented trio demonstrates that their loss of vision does not stop them from creating beautiful music that moves us all.
They are musicians from The Purple Symphony, a 100-strong orchestra comprising members with different abilities. Started by our CDC team, The Purple Symphony promotes inclusion and celebrates all abilities.
Join us in celebrating these incredible musicians—and many others—who make our community stronger and more vibrant!
