Completion of Albert Food Centre and Market's Repairs and Refurbishment
Welcome to the busy and popular Albert Food Centre and Market, just recently refurbished. It’s been a challenging but worthy project.
Many people, far more than just the residents, patronise the centre – hence, the heavier daily cleaning load, the higher repair and renovation needs; all of which make the jobs of the National Environment Agency, Jalan Besar Town Council and hawkers’ association a tough one.
Big thanks to these frontliners for their contributions. Big thanks too to the ministries and agencies who understood and agreed to supporting this repairs project.
