Walking Trails@CDC

Today, I am happy to join the launch of FIVE Walking Trails@CDC with my fellow Mayors and Minister Edwin Tong, who is People's Association Deputy Chairman.

The Walking Trails@CDC is a simple yet enjoyable way to stay active, appreciate the outdoors, and discover hidden corners of our neighbourhood.

What is even more exciting: while you accumulate your steps along the trail, you can also complete digital challenges and earn vouchers! This has been made possible through a partnership with CrowdTask Singapore (GovTech).

Healthy living does not have to be boring—it can be rewarding, and done together with family, friends, and neighbours.

There are five trails across five districts, ranging from nature to the city. We were able to walk to the beautiful Railway Corridor along the North West Trail during today’s event.

For our Central Singapore trail, its unique feature is transforming our city landmarks into living classrooms.

So, lace up your shoes, grab a buddy, and begin discovering hidden heritage gems from Chinatown to Fort Canning in the Central area.
