Purattasi Celebration @ Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple

I was pleased to join Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple’s Purattasi celebration, despite my haze-induced throat problem.

Purattasi is the sixth month in the Tamil calendar and is regarded as one of the most sacred and auspicious months of the year.

During Purattasi, the temple welcomes thousands of devotees daily and more than 30,000 devotees on every Saturday.

I love the traditional lunch served on banana leaves but have to miss some delicious spicy items this year.
