Come, come enjoy the vibrancy of the Ramadan Bazaar (Gemilang Kampong Gelam!) at Kampong Glam Heritage District, now on till 18 March 2026!​

The merchants who organised it are so pleased to have MND Minister Chee Hong Tat, Acting Minister Assoc Prof Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Parl Sec Dr Syed Harun and many friends come officially launch it!​

Kudos to Chairman Zaki Ma’rof of Kampong Gelam Alliance and team for the initiative so passionately with support of many stakeholders – businesses and government agencies like URA, NEA, LTA, SPF and many others. Truly took a kampong.​

Folks interested in things heritage can check out the beautiful Wardah Books, the heritage Muslim bookshop in the area.​

So proud of this ground-up organised bazaar in my constituency and district – although I too patronise the other famous bazaar at Geylang Serai!​

One aspect of the unique multicultural Singapore we all should be so proud of.
