Breakfast with Love and Visit to Masjid Burhani
After my usual Breakfast with Love with Ah Hood Gardens residents, I am on my way to Masjid Burhani or the Dawoodi Bohra Mosque in my constituency.
This is a mosque first built in 1897 after the pioneers of the Indian Gujarati Dawoodi Bohra community first arrived in Singapore.
Singapore is so unique in its respect for its multicultural and multi-religious character.
We may not know in depth each faith and ethnic group but we do our best to honour our Singapore Pledge to build a nation regardless of race, language or religion.
Update you more later on this special community.
