Launch of Differently Wired Minds

October is ADHD Awareness Month!
I am delighted to join Unlocking ADHD, founded by Moonlake Lee, in launching its remarkable book, Differently Wired Minds.
I was pleased that newly appointed MOE Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Dr Syed Harun Alhabsyl, was the Guest of Honour and delivered a keynote address, underscoring MOE’s support.
ADHD stands for "Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder" — a neurodevelopmental condition affecting an average of 3–4% of the population. Studies estimate prevalence at 5–8% among younger individuals and 2–7% among adults. Many may also have co-occurring conditions such as autism, dyslexia, or a learning disability.
Moonlake, Chairman Tze Wee, and their team have done a tremendous amount of work over the past decade to raise awareness and support the community.
The book shares 60 stories of individuals with ADHD who have found strategies to live fulfilling lives and contribute meaningfully in their own unique ways.
Love them all!
