SkillsFuture Festival @ Junction 8

Work for as long as you choose to and not be asked to leave due to irrelevant job skills! Find out more about Singapore’s SkillsFuture movement.
Urging everyone to press on with lifelong learning and tapping on SkillsFuture is one key priority of my role as CDC mayor.
This week, my CDC organised the SkillsFuture Festival at the heartlands at Bishan Junction 8 – with booths, learning stations, employer interview stations – for 4,000 members of the public. With partners like SkillsFuture Singapore, Lifelong Learning Institute, Employment and Employability Institute and training providers mostly in the digital space.
Every month, our CDC runs free 90-minute SkillsFuture Advice Workshops for members of the public, residents and employees in businesses. In four languages. Using professional trainers we select and content we curate.
If you live or work in Central and are interested to find out more, contact us at pa_centralsingapore@pa.gov.sg.
Glad to have newly minted Member of Parliament and Grassroots Adviser for Bishan, Elysa Chen, join me as well today to promote skills for the future.
