Inaugural Ministry of Finance/MTI GPC Meeting this term

Glad to attend the inaugural Ministry of Finance/MTI Government Parliamentary Committee meeting of this term of Parliament.

Chairman of this GPC is MP Saktiandi, joined by several of my Parliament colleagues who are well-versed in business and finance matters.

The Ministry of Finance is helmed by competent leaders who care deeply for Singapore’s and Singaporeans’ well-being.

Our inaugural meeting was like a mini Parliament sitting, where the Prime Minister and public office holders answered the questions we couldn’t wait to ask—Singapore’s appeal to investors, cost of living and business, state of retail and food and beverage sectors, impact of artificial intelligence, and more.
