Coffeeshop Kitchen Mishap @ Queen Street

I am overseas and in daily touch with the team. There was a fire due to a coffeeshop kitchen mishap at Queen Street. It has now been put out, thanks to our amazing SCDF team.

Our grassroots volunteers, especially RN Chairman Jasmine and her team, are on the ground to ensure all affected are fine. I have also arranged for evacuated residents to have their needs, including makan if needed, taken care of.

The Jalan Besar Town Council is also helping with the plumbing rupture and electricity.

As at 2.10 pm, residents have returned to their flats.
