Financial Fitness Workshop @ Whampoa

We often talk about keeping physically fit. Financial fitness matters too.

It is about taking the steps to develop life options, peace of mind, and the confidence to make life decisions with greater freedom — whatever one’s age, background or season of life.

So I was very encouraged to see more than 100 residents sign up for our first public-run Financial Fitness Workshop at Whampoa.

This is a workshop series specially curated by UoB and my Central CDC team, for residents who want to learn, plan ahead and build a better future for their families - working adult, pre-retiree or retiree.

Glad that our local Grassroots Adviser Shawn Loh joined me to welcome residents to this meaningful initiative.

The workshops are practical and easy to follow. We cover important topics like Saving, Insurance, Investing and Legacy Planning — with simple first steps residents can act on immediately.

Financial fitness is not about one big move. It is about many small wise steps taken over time.

Today, more than 100 residents took that first step
