The Purple Symphony X Inmates from Prisons Joint Performance
I started this week inspired.
Our musicians from The Purple Symphony (Singapore’s largest inclusive orchestra) — with and without special needs — came together with talented inmates from the Prisons. They performed for other inmates.
This first-ever joint performance between TPS and Singapore Prison Service Institution A5’s Performing Arts Centre Band reminded me:
No life is beyond hope.
No talent should be left unseen.
Every person has something to give.
And it takes boldness to come together when our stories are very different.
Thank you to the Prisons Commissioner, staff, inmates, and our TPS & CDC teammates for making this possible.
Every person carries something of worth.
Sometimes, all it takes is a chance — to be seen, heard, and appreciated.
