Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing fathers out there!

Top on my list is my husband Tay; if he hadn't accepted, loved and nurtured our special son these 30 years, our family wouldn't be where we are today — trying to serve others in the same plight and more.

Then there are all my male volunteers who are fathers themselves; serving tirelessly and quietly for so many years with me — especially vulnerable fellow Singaporeans who are likely unable to reciprocate. Some dads even came out with me today on Father's Day.

And then, I met Jason Wong whom I managed to hear speak when I rushed over in between, at church service today. This is the Jason who founded Singapore's Yellow Ribbon movement when he was a Prisons Officer and then the Dads for Life movement when he was in the Ministry of Social and Family Development.

To all of you dads who walk the extra miles, thank you!

And to every father out there, you know you're trying your best — dads are for life! Jia you! Thank you! Happy Father's Day!!
