Busy busy weekend but well worth it. It was wonderful meeting so many jobseekers at our Job Fair @ Jalan Besar over the weekend.

Getting the right job, bosses and skills to keep and advance in one's preferred vocation — is hugely important in life.

That is why my Central CDC team has inked a strategic partnership with e2i to bring job opportunities closer to the community.

This partnership brings together the best of both worlds. e2i has an extensive network of employers and deep expertise in employment and skills. Central Singapore CDC is situated close to the residents on the ground.

Together, we can provide more personalised support and connect people to jobs that are meaningful and, where possible, closer to home.

There are over 3,000 job opportunities across a wide range of sectors at the job fair.

My Central CDC also offers 1,000 complimentary AI workshop places to help residents build practical AI skills and strengthen their employability.

Big big thank you to our on-site employers, e2i team, volunteers and everyone who made this job fair possible.

Kudos to the many jobseekers who came with hope, courage and an open mind towards new possibilities.

Not forgetting my fellow Grassroots Advisers from Jalan Besar GRC — Minister Josephine Teo, Dr Wan Rizal and Shawn Loh — together with e2i CEO Jean Tan — who came to launch the first Job Fair at Jalan Besar by the new partnership.
