Busy Weekends @ Central Singapore
It was a busy weekend of action by our CDC with some awesome partners on the ground.
Thank you Residents for joining us these couple of weekends:
CENTRAL MARKETS curated by our Central CDC to serve residents, support local farmers and artisans, expose disabled and/or aspiring musicians — last weekend's at Balmoral was a hit!
Performances at the Botanic Gardens to massive appreciative audiences by The Purple Symphony, Singapore's largest inclusive ORCHESTRA started by Central CDC.
Children and families using the 18 Giant CHESS Sets installed by Central CDC across Central District; the latest is the one at Holland Village (classes will be arranged if there're sufficient new learners).
Another DOTS ACADEMY Learning Journey for Youths in Central by Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT), a technical agency under MINDEF that helps protect Singapore's defence networks and systems against cyber threats.
Another monthly FINANCIAL FITNESS WORKSHOP run by Central CDC and our longtime partner, UOB, for residents interested in upping their financial health — at Toa Payoh East.
These regular exciting initiatives are on top of the rest of the 52 offerings we organise — to assist the vulnerable, seniors and families in need in our District.
Check out the one-page summary in this post about Central CDC; and #WhyWeDoWhatWeDo, if you live or work here in Central District.
Contact my team and I if you wish to partner us to do good at Central. We have 1 million residents living in this district!
