Do you know that there are 159,000 Singaporeans who are aged 90 and above?

There are 1.04 million Singapore residents aged 65 and over! As of 2024, our average lifespan is 83.5 years.

I was very pleased to recently join our ward’s annual Supa Senior Birthday celebration—an event held each year to celebrate the birthdays of community seniors aged 90 and above, honouring their longevity and valuable life experiences.

A big thank you to PeaceConnect (Anglican) Active Ageing Centre, and sponsors Sunray Woodcraft Construction Pte Ltd, OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, as well as partners from MWS AAC @ Jalan Berseh, St Hilda’s AAC, Joy Connect SCC, SGH Community Health team, volunteers, and our wonderful senior participants—without whom there would be no reason for celebration!
