A Purposeful Weekend

I often remind myself to never wear busyness as a badge; and always check myself on #WhyIDoWhatIDo.
This busy weekend is a purposeful one for me – as a disability volunteer; as mayor of Central Singapore CDC as MP and grassroots adviser for my Kampong Glam residents and as friend.
Chaired an AGM for a $100 million-large charity I help run – so happy to bring in 5 new board members to take it through the next era of dreams and challenges.
Partnered my strong CDC partner, SMRT, to bring CHESS to 2 Mass Rapid Transits at Bras Basah and Botanic Gardens.
Completed the last of 10 National Day parties in my constituency so residents and I can honour Singapore together – and remember the good of our country.
Supported the art and discipline of Chinese calligraphy amongst our young with the passionate Chinese Calligraphy Association of Singapore.
Made time to pay respect to a deceased community friend; and then dine with dear colleagues turned friends whom I worked with in China as a young HP executive.
