Kampong Glam Education Awards

I cannot wait for the weekend to be over to share with you how encouraged I am by the youth volunteers who came to help at our division’s Education Awards ceremonies. They helped organize, present, usher, and pack during these many sessions. My older grassroots volunteers and I are so heartened to serve alongside them.

A bit of context — these two weekends, I am hosting 10 Education Awards sessions for many of my student residents and their supportive family members. I will share more news on the award recipients and their families after we finish all ten of them.

Just wanted to let you know first about the amazing volunteers — many of whom were past recipients themselves in earlier years!
