World Cities Summit 2026
I'm often mighty proud of Singapore and last weekend gave me another reason why.
I'm glad to help out with some co-hosting over the weekend, at the 10th edition of the biennial World Cities Summit — organised by our very own Ministry of National Development's Centre for Liveable Cities!
And delighted too to welcome delegates to a related local forum at Google Asia Pacific Headquarters on Monday, and shared a little on Singapore's smart nation journey and Artificial Intelligence ambitions.
World Cities Summit is a Singapore-enabled global platform for government leaders and industry experts to address liveable and sustainable city challenges, share urban solutions and forge partnerships.
Over 250 cities from around the world have participated.
It proudly showcases Singapore's capability to host global quality events of substance.
My participation at the Google Artificial Intelligence forum reminded me too of my (much) younger days when I was marketing the latest Information Technology products of the day in Singapore and parts of China.
A purposeful weekend overall.
