Visit to Hougang Secondary School

Really glad to have visited Hougang Secondary School with Education Minister Desmond Lee this week.

This is one of Minister's weekly school visits and I came along as a member of the Education Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC).

I'm so encouraged by the many ways by which students are exposed to values, STEM, AI and other important aspects of schooling.

And mighty proud that our country pays a lot of attention to ensure education is accessible to all, regardless of one's family background.

I myself am blessed by this accessibility.

Perhaps if I were born elsewhere, I would not have been given the chances I had. Thank you, my Singapore.
